I have served as a Delegate from Greenbrier County in the House of Delegates for 14 years. I have a proven track record of honesty, integrity, hard work and loyalty toward Greenbrier County and West Virginia citizens. I have been using my experience in business and local and state government to continue to advance the needs of the 28th District(Greenbrier County) and West Virginia.

My priorities include enabling our young people to have jobs in WV, a quality education for all of our citizens, quality health care for all-especially our children and seniors, and infrastructure development. Within my district of Greenbrier County you will see that I have helped direct consistent and substantial resources to Senior Centers in Rupert and Fairlea, our Fire Departments, Community Centers, Libraries, and Local Schools. I remain committed to sustained funding for Greenbrier Community College of New River Community and Technical College, the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, the State Professional Theatre of WV(Greenbrier Valley Theatre), and Carnegie Hall.

I value the assets of ALL of Greenbrier County and have been very pleased to work with my friends in Western Greenbrier County to see the new State Police Barracks constructed in Rainelle and to help obtain over $200,000 over the years for the construction of the track at Western Greenbrier Middle School. I remain an active supporter of the HSTA program at Rainelle Medical Center.  I made sure that when the legislature visited Greenbrier County for interim meetings in 2003 that committees visted several sites in Western Greenbrier including Greenbrier West High School and Western Greenbrier Middle School.

I have voted for lower taxes for our seniors and remain committed to fair taxation for all. The Legislature has implemented no general tax increases in the 14 years I have served. Our strong rural values of hard work, faith, family commitment, and fairness help form the way I vote in Charleston.

Greenbrier County is almost the same size in area as the State of Rhode Island. That brings many challenges to serving this large district, but I enjoy serving the WHOLE county and working with fine West Virginians in this county and beyond to help move us forward.
