Obtained funding for managed timberland supplement used by County Commission to help purchase industrial park.
Supported development of infrastructure through Frankford, PSD #2, and Caldwell-Monroe Draft water projects.

Member of the Legislative Committee on Medical Malpractice Insurance that helped lauch reforms in our Medical Liability statutes to let our doctors stay in West Virginia.

Supported over $2 million in additional funds over the years for capital improvements and special projects to WVSOM, Greenbrier College of New River and Community Technical College and Greenbrier County schools.
Lead sponsor of the legislation that fully funded and stabilized the Promise Scholarship Program and provided further funding to the Higher Education Grants Program.
Helped guide the legislation to move West Virginia Tech to full division status of West Virginia University.
